Plastic Surgery Central is the place to go when you want to find information about plastic surgeons or a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure. We aren’t replacing Google, only supplementing it.

All too often, when you search on Google or any other search engine, you wind up with tons of ads which – in plastic surgery, as in all other things – just may lead you down the proverbial garden path.

So we perform a lot of basic research, telling you how to check, really check, the credentials of a surgeon you may wish to see. We’ve seen the come-ons, the also-rans, the sinners and the downright misleading. They all fly at least one type of red warning flag.

We offer up the winners, although nobody is paying us to put their names forward. We’re totally independent and unbiased in our findings, something like an electronic Consumer’s Union, if you will.

So we evaluate plastic surgery websites, along with reviews of surgeons and new and standard procedures.

How do we do that? With a huge research staff?

No, we rely on the good sense of ordinary patients who have been there and done that. (Or, in some cases, had that done to them.) We hope you are willing to share your experiences and tell us the good, the bad and the only so-so. Use us as a sounding board.

We also talk about costs. When you write to us, we would only like to know the town or city in which you live, the procedure you had, its cost and outcome and who performed it. Also, we would like to know if you would do it over again. Has the procedure made a difference in your life, your self-confidence and your sense of self-worth?

After all, those are the basic reasons for having rejuvenation surgery!
